Eight silhouettes of members of Denmark's Royal Family, several identified. Most are within fancy engraved borders, several with engraved crowns above the image. Three have the imprint at the bottom: "silhouetirt von B.J. Greve Ao 1788", and are [tentatively] identified in holograph: "Frideric Prince Herediter / Louise Augusta? / Maria Sophia?". Others are identified in pencil beneath the images as Louise Augusta, Maria Sophia, and Friedrich. One is an image of Christian VII, easily recognized by his hair and headgear. This framed canvas measures about 34 inches in height, about 28 inches wide. It is a portrait of an aged Inuit woman wearing a parka. Condition is very good - there is one small perforation in the upper part of the canvas, but it is not near to and does not affect the image. Mona Thrasher was born in 1942 in a bush camp between Aklavik and present day Inuvik. At a young age, a hunting accident left her partially deaf and mute.
